Mountain Lion & Networks

Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, I've had issues staying connected to servers with which I had no problem maintaining connections for months at a time. Has Mountain Lion changed network configuration somehow that would cause this and, if so, is there a way to combat or reverse it?
