Q: do i need to pay for testing the ipod touch ?

ok im having problems with touch screen on ipod touch is there an easy fix or do i need to pay them for a solution. i have only had this for a couple months now and it hasent been droped or anything so why the sudden problem. by the way it started with the new iOS5.1.1 update could this be the problem?

If an Apple Store is within reasonable distance, make an appointment with the resident "Genius" (no charge) and let him/her look at it.
