when I send Imessage to someone with iphone, there had received 2 message. one from my phone No: and other one from my E-mail apple ID why is that happen

I just install mountain lion I try to send imessage from my MBP , every time i send the imessage to someone iphone

they received 2 mesage from me one from my mobile number and the other from the my email addres apple ID

can you tell me what is appening or how can I fix it so only one message
