Jul 28, 2012 8:13 PM in response to MacIAmby ds store,That's a poor way to go about it.
Install the payware SnapzPro X, it records anything on the screen with sound into a Quicktime file which you can edit in iMovie or Final Cut Pro.
There is Toast Titanium which can burn video/audio movies to disk for DVD playback.
However if the stuff you record or burn is copyrighted then you need the permission of the copyright owners or be subject to lawsuits for damages.

Jul 28, 2012 8:55 PM in response to ds storeby clintonfrombirmingham,There are some problems with SnapzPro running under Mtn Lion - you can still do a screen capture but not video. I don't know if ScreenFlow would help but I bought it in one of those MacUpdate packages and like it very much for the small amount of time that I've played around with it.
