Siri not responding

I seem to be having the exact same issue....two iphones, one works with siri and siri on the other iphone has not been working for 4 days now. That is one long server issue if that is the case.

I've been having the same problem since the past 5 days. It looks like siri is able to take the question but not able to respond to it and few minutes later Siri says"I'm really sorry but i cant take any requests right now". I'm sure my wifi network is fine because my sister's phone(Siri) works fine.

i`ve tried everything until restored iphone a few times but still the problem remain... Apple please do something.... T_T

Siri does not work this week on my 4S or iPad 3.

I noticed that Siri worked every time on a 3G connection. I restarted my Time Capsule and Siri then worked reliably.

Same problem here, bought my 4S last monday and Siri never worked with me. I think Apple servers are oveloaded with the release of Mountain Lion. I hope they fix it soon... I've tried everything too, I think something is going on with Apple servers.

Please let me know if your problem is solved or not...I am facing similar issue since past 15 days or so...

Guys, check this out! It seems that "Random08" found the solution (at least for a while) for our devices...

"Hey guys! so see if this works .. cuz I tried everything as well.. restores etc.. but this is what finally worked for me.. Change your DNS in your wifi settings to 208.67.220.220 or 208.67.222.222 or google DNS(8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)... if you change it back to you ISP's DNS or default DNS .. then it again stops to work after a while.."

I did that and Siri is working like a CHARM here. Tomorrow I'll check if it is working on 3G network too... Good luck!

Not working... I am from India. I tried your solution and have also tried on 3G network to no avail.

Works fine on wifi, great fix. Now Siri in 3G is still an issue.But definately happy to know its not a hardware problem. Thanks.

Yea it worked but not with Google DNS but those 208.xxx DNSes...however no respose yet on 3G,

come on Apple, what ya'll doing?
