I have two launchpad pages in my macbook. Whenever I try to browse to second page, it instantly scrolls me back to page 1. I am pretty sure, my keyboard and mouse isn't broken so it's not pressing or pushing any button. Only way I can access my apps in second page is by searching with the search bar and getting that app on the first page.

Me too! I have 5 pages of applications in Launchpad, and whenever I scroll beyond the first page, it scrolls me back to the first page, automagically. Weird and annoying (even though I don't use Launchpad much).
I've been having the same issue on my 13" Macbook Pro since I upgraded to OS X Mountain Lion. Have you found a fix for this? This is a horrible bug especially since I use the pages to seperate my work application from my personal applications.

I have somewhat of the same problem. I went to launchpad to launch messages. I clicked messages and it just bounced slightly. I looked down at the dock and mail started to slide, but then it slid back. Earlier, I had tried to get into messages and my password wouldnt let me in. Help...
Well, I fixed my problem after restarting the computer.
I get this same problem repeatedly since upgrading to Mountain Lion on a 2012 MacBook Air. I have to restart every other day or so to fix it. Most inconvienient.
