OS X Mountain Lion Up-To-Date Claim Denial

I have purchased My Mac Pro from A Reseller in India on 29th June 2012. I Filled the form for Up-To-Date Program for redemption code. But i got a Mail denying my Claim. The mail only says "Reciept Does not show purchase of a Qualifying Product".

The Proof of purchase uploaded was genuine. And now I am not able to re apply for code as it says, Serial Number already claimed.

Can anyone help me in this or can tell me what should i do next? I feel frustrated by this. My emails to Apple Support are also Not Replied. Customer Care is Closed from yesterday.

Shivaji,

First off you should search the forums for posts like yours. I have seen a number of posts like your on the forums. You should find your answer without the need to duplicate past posts.

Your only option in this case is for you to be patient and wait until tomorrow. Either call your reseller and demand action or call Apple.

Good luck

Yup Already did that... Reseller says he will contact the concern person and will let me know.

Apple care ask me to drop a mail to support team of Itunes.. 😕.. mailed them too...

its so frustrating.. going thru all this process.. All i wanted was the best OS... I should've pruchased my mc with new OS only... My reseller told me it won't b a problem as I'll get it for free...😢

Your reseller was telling the truth. it has just been messed up somewhat... about 1.3 million people qualify for the free ML upgrade... that is a lot of work isnt it!?

to be honest there is very little change between lion and ML - Apple boast over 200 new features... mmmm!

I am also seeing lots of people having ealry issues with ML so my advice would be to just sit back and relax.

if your reseller does not sort things out you could always start talking about your consumer rights and the miss selling of goocts act and threaten to return the machine....

that may spurr them in to action.
