Q: I can't find airplay when upgrade to mountain lion

when I upgrade my Mac OS to Mountain Lion, I can't find the airplay option in the display menu under system preference, can anyone tell me how to set up the mirror imagine on my TV by using airplay?

 

p.s. i have also upgrade my Apple TV into latest version.

A:

Basic rule of thumb with the airplay feature.. if you have an i5 or better processor you're good.

    I have an i7 seven processor. I still can't find the airplay in my system preferences. I bought my macbook pro in January 2011 can somebody help me.

    I am having the same problem.  I bought my apple tv and macbook pro i7 yesterday and I can't get them to sink.  They are both on the same WiFi network.. I tested connections - both are working, however under system preferences > displays > airplay mirroring .. nothing.. no options..

     

    If it was between 9-5 I'd call. .will wait for the morning.
