Yes, the mini's Airport is 802.11G standard, just as your Linksys router, so the two will be fully compatible.

It should do... I have a dell and a mac mini conneting via LAN cable to a linksys wirless router, and form a network. I do not connect both systems on wirelss, while I use the wirless connection for my laptop and PDA. Therefore, I beleive wireless will work the same way. It should be fairly easy to connect your mac mini to the linksys router with the built in Airport Extreme card.

With the Front Row on the new mac mini, I can also play iTunes music (& video/movies) stored on my dell storage through the mac which in turn connects to my Audio Visual system. It's really really cool....

Buy it............ I think it's my best electronics buy in these last few years......

That should be very easy.

When the mini is booted up, you'll see the Airport icon in the menu bar - it looks like a white fan shape if airport is off, and a set of up to four black arcs (the more there are the stronger the signal) if it's on.

Just click on the icon and a menu will drop down listing all the visible wireless networks. If yours hasn't been given a name, it'll probably appear as 'linksys'. If your network is showing, select it and if you have no security enabled, the mini will join it. If you have WPA or WEP enabled, you'll be asked for a password. Enter the password you've set for your router, and you'll be in.
