Q: Wiki Service 'Error Reading Settings'.

Hi,

I recent'y upgraded a machine with Lion Server to Mountain Lion Server. However, every time I now open Server.app, I get an error saying that the Wiki service cannot read settings.

I don't actually use the Wiki service but if anyone could tell me how to get rid of this error, I'd be extremely grateful.

Thanks,

Andy

I went through the instructions here:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4837

But the same problems remain. When the Wiki service is trying to start, here are the console messages (wikiconfig.log):

The command list for the Profile Manager service is far too long to post here. But this is the last error:

    Jul 29 07:21:12 miniserver.local ProfileManager[85663] <Error>: devicemgrd: Terminating on unhandled exception Rake command failed with 256 at /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/share/devicemgr/webserver/devi cemgrd:258:in `Rake'

              /Applications/Server.app/Contents/ServerRoot/usr/share/devicemgr/webserver /devicemgrd:833

I don't know what to try next.

I was having the same issue.. lots of searching and nothing much came up past it might be something with Postgres..

I'd never used any of the server components (I'd just bought the Lion on 2 weeks ago and only run it once), so I:

    - deleted Server.app

    - deleted /Library/Server

    - redownloaded Server.app (for Mountain Lion)

    it worked as expected.

Thanks for the help but the same issue exists after doing this.

I also did some rebooting and permission repairing (even from the recovery partition). Not sure of the proper order.
