Mailing more than one image not working

Hi,

I hvae upgraded to Mountain Lion and then did the update to Aperture 3.3.2. I am using Mail to send image from Aperture - better: used. If I selecht a single image and try to mail it, things work as expected. However, if I select more than one image, they show up in Mail, I can enter the email addressed buit the send button keeps being grey'ed out, ie I cannot send.

Anyone experiencing the same problem?

Thx Kirby.

It sure shows, no probs there. But I get a Resizing (null) error message to the left of the Image Size window.

I have investigated further.

It does not work if you select two images next to each other (above errors appear, mail not deletable)

It works flawlessly with selecting three or more images next to each other (resize & send possible).

It works flawlessly with a single image (resize & send possible).

It works flawlessly with multiple images if randomly selected with holding Command key.

So, on my system it works APART from when you want to send two images next to each other. Weird!

Just came back from the next pic session. It actually also does not work with two images that are NOT next to one another - at least not for me

Same here. Clearly a bug. Let's all send a bug report to Apple: "ApertureâžžProvide Aperture Feedback".

Tommy -- exactly. Nicely spotted.

The work-around is simple: move one of the Images before selecting the pair.

I think this is more than a bug related to Aperture. I have a thread started about Mail seeming not to recognize jpeg attachments added using the normal "attach" option when I am replying to e-mails. I can attach, say, two 500kb jpegs, but the message size shown relmains at 10kb. This issue was not there before I upgraded to Mountain Lion.

Sandman,

Thanks. It's always great when someone else spots the same bug. Confirms I wasn't dreaming or just being inept!

Thanks for confirming that the photos do actually send in full. I hadn't taken the risk on trying that, because they were going to valued customers, and I didn't want to mess them about.

Reading these discussion forums, it's clear there are more than a few Mail bugs since the Mountain Lion upgrade.
