Where do i put the thing you download from the new snow leopard graphics update?

I recently downloaded team fortress 2 and it said my graphics processor wasn't able to support it. So i looked online and found this new update the was supposed to help with tf2 and other games. I found my mac under the update affects list and i downloaded the file. So heres my question... i downloaded everything but where do i put the thing i downloaded? I put it in my hd but it still doesn't work. Please help i really wanna play tf2. 😝
