Not sure but thought I would ask ? Are we able to make a copy of ML for a clean install. Some help Please !!!! Also can u go back to Lion ??

You can re-install Lion if you wish, but will have to endure the 4GB+ download again to do so.
To make an installable copy of Lion or Mountain Lion, you need to do so AFTER the download and BEFORE the Install. The disk image is consumed during the Installation (files are "moved into place" rather than copied) so the image is not available after installation.
There are numerous online guides that detail which files to copy, and how to make the copy. A search will find one from a reputable source. Some of these guides are now pointing out that installing from a DVD is slow, and installing from an 8GB or larger thumb drive/Flash drive is much faster (but, in my opinion, not quite as likely to "be there" when you need it).
