Q: I have a damaged Iphone but I need my contacts. The backup is encrypted and it seems it is not possible. Can someone help?

Your contacts should live on your computer. Your iphone just allows you to take them with you.
Typically you would use Outlook or Address Book.
If you have failed to do this, then they are very likely gone.
