Quicktime 7 Pro Gone?

Shows you how much I really must use it, but after the upgrade to OS 10.8 I was searching for my trusty old Quicktime 7 Pro, found it missing on three machines, tried to download the latest and was stopped with a caution that Quicktime 7 could not ne installed beside the current Quicktime 10. Now I;m sure I ran them both for a while. Is it gone by design?
