I can connect my ipod touch to my scarla q2 head set but i will not play through the speakers any suggestions

If you have a 3G iPod it will not work. This:

says it uses the Hand Freee Profile and only the 4G supports that:

iOS: Supported Bluetooth profiles

Does Scarla say it will work with your iPod?

Are you talking about the headspeaker in the BT device?

Have you tried resetting the BT device? You have to look at the instructions for the device for how.
