os 10.8 mail app download feedback

dear all,

i am missing the spinning wheels that showed behind the different inboxes in the sidebar while downloading messages in mail version 6.0 (1485). OS 10.8.

is there a way to bring them back? in terminal?

sorry, i just found a thread with the same question and the answer is "This is expected behavior. Apple removed the spinning indicator in Mountain Lion.*

if this is correct, it is a pity. well, let's move on.

not sure this link works.
