I have the most recent model MBA 13". It has 4GB memory but only 120GB of storage and I want to at least double that. Is it possible?

Yes, you can upgrade the internal SSD drive on your 2012 MBA.

Btw, it is no more expensive than buying the larger SSD from Apple, plus you get to keep your old SSD drive.

Ram can not be upgraded.  The SSD can with do-it-yourself kits but is terribly expensive.
