what is taking so long to receive my os x lion redemption code?

i have the new macbook with retina display that i purchased on june 30th. it's been about four days since I sent the order form and apple still hasn't sent me anything regarding the redemption code. if you look in the terms and conditons, they said that they'd send it to you within 24 hours. so my question is, what's the hold up?
