My daughter accidently purchased $50 worth of gems in Dragonvale. I can't find a way on itunes to report this error and ask to have it refunded. Please help me.

All purchases are considered, byt you can try contacting iTunes support and seeing if they will refund ot credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store
To stop it happening again, you can turn off in-app purchases on the iPod via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-APp Purchases
