hola para la solucion de compatibilidad de de saffire 6 con osx mountain lion los de focusrite me dieron esta solucion un driver en face beta pero a mi me a funcionado ya no tengo ruido ni distorciones.

¿Va a conectar el dispositivo a un puerto USB 2.0 o 3.0?

Si tiene la versión USB 2.0 del USB 6, por favor descargue los driver Focusrite USB2 1.4b2 desde el sitio web siguiente:

tenia un problema parece ser que el imac instalaba el driver pero no lo reconocia por lo cual hice lo siguiente:

1- en preferencias del sistema en/ seguridad y privacidad/ general / marcar en cualquier sitio.

2- en firewall desactivarlo

3- no salir de preferencias del sistema en/ seguridad y privacidad y dejar con el candado abierto que se encuentra abajo a la izquierda ademas lo sabran hay que abrirlo para poder hacer las modificaciones antes descritas

4- instalar el driver en face beta que describe arriba reiniciar

5- conectar y desconectar un par de veces el saffire 6 y hacer pruevas deberia funcionar a mi me funciono pero claro cada imac es un mundo

espero les sirva.

correccion me funciono y luego de nuevo igual con los ruidos es raro lo siento seguire buscando soluciones

sino queda esperar a focusrite

So far (and it's still early) the latest beta update has worked for me. I'm going to attempt to do a full session tonight.

look what you have to do is contact your Focusrite support them solve the problem but it's so tedious.

see if your problem is that the Focusrite Saffire 6 USB gives you problems when recording audio is noise distortion etc etc which was what happened to me is that it's a driver issue

Focusrite's me sorted with a driver in beta version and everything is solved now I'm happy

You have to check if your Saffire 06 usb connection is USB 1.1 or 2.0 version 1.1 is mine so I got the driver to contact them if

and consult with Focusrite support this because I'm not sure if it pa Focusrite Saffire 06 USB 2.0 USB2 Drivers 1.4b2

mira lo que tienes que hacer es contactarte con el soporte de focusrite ellos solucionaran el problema es tedioso pero es asi.

mira si tu problema es que la focusrite saffire 6 usb te da problemas al grabar audio sea ruido distorcion etc etc que era lo que a mi me pasaba es que es un problema de driver

los de focusrite me lo solucionaron con un driver en version beta y para que todo se solucione ahora estoy feliz

tienes que revisar si tu saffire 06 usb es de coneccion usb 1.1 o 2.0 la mia es version 1.1 por lo cual me dieron el driver para el caso contactate con ellos

Don't break out the champagne yet, but I suspect its the laptops over heating. My friend reminded me that heat is most often the root of any issue that happens over time, as something is over heating. Its may be true. What I hear is digital signal passing through undecoded. Like modem noise or hash squarewave jutter - mixed in withthe decoded audio. So the processor is not working to full capacity.

He sugested I put my laptop so as to expose the hot under belly...and....no more digital distortion.🙂

It is likely you do not have fully compatible drivers instaoled for your Audio/midi interface... As was found by the otehrs in this thread...

Go to your Audio/Midi interface makers website and look for and update your drivers...

I run a Mackie 1640 mixer with a firewire to my iMac G5. Have not had any problems until I installed mountain lion. I see the CPU spike to red during what used to be normal playback of about 35 tracks.

Is in fact the fix a new driver for the interface with Mackie?

Is the issue with the AirPort software, the audio drivers or Mountain Lion?

The CPU spikes and my system goes crazy. Back in logic pro 7, there was a similar issue with overload. I use logic pro almost every day and I need a good fix soon.
