hi after a software update i now dont have google search bar on my tool bar, have went to customise toolbar but when i drag it up to tool bar it just replaces the address bar, and when i have opned a few pages unlike before now it does not seem to go back when i drag mouse it seems to just stick on that page, i have to close the page and open safari again, any ideas anyone ????

    You probably updated to safari 6 - which came out last week.

    Safari 6 comes with a unified bar, that includes a search bar and an address bar. There's nothing to do about it.

    If you really don't like the new safari, if you have not updated to Mountain Lion & if you have a backup of your system, I think you could uninstall safari 6 interely and reinstall the older version.

    hi, thxs guys, not to happy with the new layout, but more to the point i know nothing is wrong with my mac...


    its not as good because you have to close windows you have opened to search again, but as i said its not broke so will just have to live with it.
