I bought Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store yesterday and left it on all night to find when I wake up in the morning nothing's there. I opened up the App Store and the download was there but it said "an error has occurred" and the download button had gone, any solutions...?
iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
My understanding it that we're dealing with excessive demand on Apple's servers for the software. You'd think they'd have a more sophisticated way of advising us, rather than just dropping the download.
1 open App Store
2 Sign in
3 Go to quick links>account
4 Unhhide Mountain Lion
5 Sign out
6 Sign it
7 Go to purchase tab
8 Mountain Lion has now an option to resume download.
This worked for me.
