Mountain Lion Crashes on resume from sleep

Is anyone else having problems with Mountain Lion crashing frequently on resume from sleep? I have tried using both the default "sleep and hibernate" mode and switching to hibernate only. In both modes, OSX "gray" screens just after it appears to finish resuming from sleep mode. This is an Early 2011 MBP 15" with a clean Lion upgraded to Mountain Lion.

It is starting to look like another failed upgrade, "sigh". I haven't had any luck with OSX OS upgades and always seems like I end up rebuilding.

This is on the right track. I can confirm that turning off Bluetooth before sleep reduces the effect.

I also noticed something funny today when disconnecting from my 27" Apple Cinema Display - the Bluetooth icon on the menu bar turned to a funky symbol (Bluetooth icon grayed with a squiggly line through it) and when I click on the icon it says something like hardware not present. The control panel for Bluetooth is still able to "turn off" Bluetooth even though the menu bar icon can not.

clearly there are some serious Bluetooth driver issues in Mountain Lion - we can only hope for a quick fix from Apple.

While I also have Sophos installed, I do not believe the problem is in fact Sophos. I tried to turn off blue tooth before putting the machine to sleep and, on resume, I have not encountered the problem of crashing on resume. I also notice that, even when Bluetooth is turned back on after the successful resume, my Bluetooth mouse needs reconnecting.
