I recently changed my protective case for my iPhone 4s from an Otterbox Defender to a Griffin Survivor. My battery now loses over 40% overnight! I removed my phone from the case and lost 0%. Why is the case causing a battery drain? I like the Griffin case and don't want to go back to the Otterbox since it's all stretched out. Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Unless the case is somehow leaning on one of the two pysical buttons, I honestly cannot see how it can affect the battery. There is obviously no electrical connection between case and phone.
I just bought one for my iphone 5 and it is draining my battery as well. i just cant figure out why
You are covering the antenna. The phone calls home quite a bit, as well as other data flow. Perhaps there is something unique to the density/composition of this case?
I have no issues with an Incipio Frequency (Black) on my 5. Similar to the Speck Pixil Skin HD, but nicer fit IMO.
