Safari 6 web inspector woes
Is there any way to get the old web inspector back for the newest version of safari?
Also, I can't seem to refresh the page when web inspector is open, what the heck?
Mac OS X (10.7)

That's what I'd like to know too, what is the webkit nightly build?
Yeah, just install it: you'll be fine..
You just made my day.
Also Chrome is using the standard webkit inspector. I couldn't get the webkit nightly build to use the webkit inspector either. I'm now full time chrome...
It's under the 'develop' top menu: use webkit inspector
It's the 3rd one down... Show Web Inspector is it. Isn't it?
That's the WEB inspector, what we want to use is the old webkit inspector with Safari.

I've sent several complaints to Apple. The new inspector is beyond a joke; it's laggy, lacking in page numbers as mentioned, you have to hover over that arrow to find the CSS file names, sometimes the html dom elements won't expand when inspecting—leaving you to do it yourself.
Backgrounds images sometimes don't showup on webpages, either, which is a Safari 6 problem.
Even the tabs have been stretched out on the top, making it difficult to read when your window is very large and tab count low.
Safari used to be the best browser ... I too, for the first time, am cracking open Chrome.
a quick google seems you're using a nightly version and not the stable version
Yeah, like i said.. download and open the nightly build: WebKit-SVN-r124616.dmg
I almost switched to Chrome (FML) untill i found this..
say I switched to nightly, how do I switch back to stable?
