help with airport card on powermac g4

At the Apple Icon at top left>About this Mac, report the version of OSX from that window, then click on More Info, then click on Hardware> and report this upto but not including the Serial#...

I have been trying to get the airport going but unable to do so. The machine sees available networks but when i choose my network and input the key, it only gives me the option to choose wpa personal while i use wpa2. No other options exists. I have changed the card to a new one with same result. Thanks you your help

Ok, that model has the 802.11b Airport card, which can only do WEP, or WPA, it cannot do WPA2...

Only choices are reducing security to WPA, or something like this...

Which allows WPA2, but speed will be limited because of your USB1.1 ports to 802.11b speeds.


Or if you can find a compatible PCI/Wifi card.
