Does Power Nap work with FileVault? Theoretically when a FileVault protected Mac goes to sleep after a set amount of time, it requires a password to decrypt the disk. Since Power Nap wakes the Mac up, shouldn't it require a password to do anything because the disk is encrypted? I haven't found any documentation on this.

That document is where I originally came from to ask the question. I'm turning on FileVault and will test overnight.
Well nothing happened either with FileVault enabled or when it wasn't. In neither case did it do a Time Capsule/Time Machine backup so I still have no idea. It just looks like Power Nap doesn't work. More research is needed I guess.
It looks like Power Nap doesn't perform Time Capsule backups when the MacBook Air screen is closed.
