NO.
NO.
I just posted this 30 minutes ago. https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4159520?answerId=19102407022#19102407022
In case you plan to start several more threads, hoping to get a different answer, I'll pre-answer a few more: no, non, nope, nyet, nada, forgetaboutit.
Thanks everyone. That is ridiculous.
Yes there is a way. Tap the box with arrow at the top right corner then tap each photo you want to delete, a check mark will appear in the bottom right corner of each photo. Then tap the delete bar, will erase many photos at once. Hope this helps.
Incorrect!
If you have a mac, open up Image Capture (click on the magnifying glass in the top right and type in 'image capture')
If your iphone is connected you can delete in bulk. Select as many photos as you like (cmd+a for all, hold shift for a bunch in a row, or cmd to select single photos) then click the no entry sign and you can delete them all.
iphoto should be able to do it..... but at least this is a workaround!!

It would have been helpful to read the original post before responding:

Oh Sorry! Should have read that properly!
If it is any help, the fastest way to delete them minus a computer is click on an album>click edit>tap to select as many photos as you like> then click delete.
For some reason this only seems to work with `Camera Roll`

Brilliant! Thanks.
Actually there is one easy and quick way for Windows users :
1. Connect your iPhone ( or any apple device you want to delete photos from )
02. Go to ''my computer''
3. You will see the device icon under Portable devices , Click it , you will find another icon named Internal Storage , Click it and then you will find a folder named DCIM , click it and then you will find a folder where you can see all your photos saved on your device photos ( Camera Roll ) , or from apps .
4. By holding right click , Select all the photos you want to delete , release the right click button and you will have to choose from many options , here you can find Delete , by clicking delete you can delete these photos permanently .
*You can also delete bulk photos saved from apps (Facebook , Whatsapp , etc) , by clicking another folder that will appear beside the folder which hold photos saved from camera roll (Step 3)
*You can also copy the photos and save them somewhere on your computer 😀
Hope this would help .
Maybe you didn't bother to read the OP's post, now 8 months old, which was asking if he could bulk delete photos WITHOUT A COMPUTER.
Regardless of the OP's question, the suggestion to use Image Capture helped me.
Thanks!
Since we're being nitpicky here: the original question asked how to do it without a computer with iTunes. So this actually does answer the original question as asked; the OP may have a computer handy but not want to install iTunes on it, totally understandable if it's a Windows machine.
No, not understandable at all, since the vast majority of iTunes installations are on Windows computers. And it's obvious he already knew that he could do it with iTunes - the question was how to do without. The response about how to use iTunes was irrelevant.
Since we are being nitpicky here; you just joined the forum to respond to a post made a year ago that has already been answered, and your comment has already been made 3 times in the thread, and the member you responded to said the same thing that you said.
