Multiple download and installation - remaining at 10.7 - Why?

I have downloaded Mountain Lion twice from the App Store - installed successfully both times, but when the computer restarts I am still having 10.7 and not 10.8.

Any clue? I am currently downloading it again :-(

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4)
