Nov 29, 2012 3:51 PM in response to OneBigBearby orchetect,From what I can tell so far, iTunes 11 hasn't fixed this issue.
Just updated my D-Link DIR-655 router to latest firmware too (1.35) with no apparent difference.

Nov 29, 2012 6:44 PM in response to OneBigBearby David Falkner,iTunes 11 upgrade today didn't help me at all. Match still works fine on my other Mac Mini running Lion. It has never worked on my MBP after upgrading to Mountain Lion.
I've tried all of the network steps, delecting the System Config file, nothing has worked.

Nov 29, 2012 7:11 PM in response to OneBigBearby orchetect,This may sound silly, but after the iTunes 11 upgrade, signing out of Match then signing back into Match on my 2nd computer has rendered it stable all day ever since. We'll see how long it lasts...
It also didn't give me the standard "you are already matching on another computer" warning like iTunes 10 used to.

Nov 30, 2012 7:49 AM in response to orchetectby Geo__,How do you sign out of iTunes Match without turning it off? When it is turned off, nothing is available.

Nov 30, 2012 12:37 PM in response to orchetectby Geo__,I still get the "you are already matching on another computer" warning even though iTunes Match on all my other devices is off.

Dec 1, 2012 12:46 AM in response to OneBigBearby orchetect,Update: Updating to latest D-Link router firmware and signing in/signing out of iTunes Match now has everything stable for both me and my machines, as well as my brother and his machines. We're using the same model of router, so this seems to be a positive test with regards the router being the cultprit.

Dec 1, 2012 2:52 AM in response to orchetectby Bjoe,iTunes 11 behaves exactly like iTunes 10.7 regarding match. I've added a few sound effects that could not be matched and therefore iTunes was trying to upload. Looping on and on. After thethering to my iPhone the upload went fine, just like with iTunes 10.7.

Dec 2, 2012 12:37 AM in response to orchetectby sjly,27" iMac upgraded from Snow Leopard -> Mountain Lion 10.8.2, iTunes 11 (made no difference)
I've tried everything too and no joy.
Everything =
Turn off/on Genius, Match, Deauthorise (various combos many times)
Deleted *.itdb files and let iTunes recreate
Deleted complete Music/iTunes folder and let iTunes recreate/start completely fresh
Clear network settings (System config)
Disabled wired network and connected via my T-Mobile 3G hotspot
This is no good - come on Apple!
(off topic - but the only other thing dodgy after the ML upgrade is Chrome - almost unusable crashes so much)

Dec 2, 2012 10:55 PM in response to sjlyby sjly,Strange (but good) news - having given up trying to fix the issue, iTunes match just started to work again for me. Maybe Apple changed something?

Dec 5, 2012 3:37 AM in response to sjlyby Karajabola,I have similar good news. I had to leave my MacBook Pro on 24/7 for 4 months to get my 19000 song library uploaded (due to the constant resetting and itunes store error.) I managed to get everything uploaded under this condition except for two 200mb songs. The issue still existed for my under iTunes 11. However, last night I left my machine on for another reason and surprisingly both 200mb songs are now in iTunes Match. I can only hope the issue is resolved and that this is not a fluke.
Would have been nice for this to happen 4 months ago.
Can anyone else report similar news?

Dec 5, 2012 6:14 PM in response to orchetectby BCWEBER,I've been following this discusion thread for awhile. And doing searches, etc......finally found a solution...for me personally.
No problems with iTunes match with itunes 10.? and my D-Link 655 router. Downloaded iTunes 11.0 last night and itunes match wouldn't connect to play my 5000+ cloud songs.
Updates my 655 router to the 1.34na firmware and all problems solved. So whatever that is worth to someone.

Dec 5, 2012 6:28 PM in response to OneBigBearby mrtymoose,I've been having the same problem. Since upgrading to Mountain Lion, iTunes Match is broken.
Contacted Apple Support who, after 2 months, told me that it is a known problem and I should request my money back or use an older version of OS X!!! That was afte a ship-load of testing, as directed by Apple, and my own testing. I proved beyond all doubt that it is a ML problem. Set a disk with 4 partitions each with a different version of OS X (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion, Mountain Lion with iTunes 11). Both ML setups failed. Other older OSes worked ok.
I guess I won't be getting my new 27" iMac now.
Apple support was very poor, patronising an, in the end, time wasting. Shoul've just acknowledged a problem and I would've gone away a little less disgruntled than I am now!
Mountain Lion - Rubbish!, Apple support - Rubbish, Apple - getting worse.

Dec 10, 2012 10:29 PM in response to whitewater2by Ghost_Yankee,This worked perfectly...TY so much. My 13 inch MBPR wasnt letting me access itunes match, just kept trying to get me to pay for another subscription.

Dec 10, 2012 10:40 PM in response to mrtymooseby Bjoe,Just tried to find out can confirm Mountain Lion is causing the problem.
It seems to be very impatient with slow or interruptive upload speeds.
I've setup an iTunes 11 on Win7 on Parallels 7 within Mountain Lion. Imported 30 songs to my iTunes library,
4 could not be matched, needed to be uploaded. The upload works slow (400kBit) but fine. With Mountain Lion it never came that far, unless I've tethered my iPhone to the Mac - much better upload speeds here.
However I'm not very confident this issue got fixed anytime soon since only very few people are affected.

Dec 15, 2012 1:35 AM in response to Bjoeby Bjoe,No change with the updated iTunes version 11.0.1. Somehow expected, because Mountain Lion seems to be the problem.
