Anyone having issues with retouch running slow after update

Anyone having issues with retouch running slow after update.

After the update I am not having this problem.

If I retouch 3 pixels or 103 pixels it takes nearly 4 minutes to process.

The process spinning circle does not spin.

My other programs are running fine and I have plenty of HD space.

I store my library in iPhoto and just use Aperture for loading and adjustments.

I currently have about 500 RAW photos in my Aperture library.
