Mail showing name and mail for known contacts

Hi all,

Even I had a contact card in my Address Book with the correct email, when i recieve an email from that contact it appears as "name <email>" instead of only "name". If I right click in the mail I can "Add to Address Book" (as if it was new, when its not).

Obviously I have activated "Use Smart Addresses"

For other contacts (randomly) the mail program is behaving correctly and it shows only the full name with no email, and with right click it shows "Show card in Address Book".

This happens with a lot of contacts after I upgraded to Lion.

Any advice on how to fix it?

Thanks
