Q: How do I configure my Pluscom NAS 3.5" Drive (OSX)

I have recently purchased a Pluscom 3.5" SATA Network Drive to install on my home network. My plan is to (hopefully) use it for Timemachine backup and as a Shared Drive on the network.

I cant find any instructions anywhere to set this up on a mac.

The Drive is plugged into the network and I can see it in Finder however the password supplied with it (admin/admin) doesnt work.

I cant find the ip address for it either as there seems to be a browser based config panel - very frustrating!

Here are the only instructions I can find for this product.

Help Please!!

If you need any further info, just ask....

    Progress report:

I resorted to digging out an old windows laptop which could run the setup disk (mini cd) and found the ip for the drive to be 192.168.0.28.

Then the user and password worked (admin/admin)

I then formatted the using the disk utility in the config panel (not on my mac)

I still cant seem to get it working properly
