Usb To Serial DB9 Adapter

Hi Everybody.

I have a problem finding a usb to serial adapter that works with Mac OS X Lion / Mountain Lion with my MacBook Pro
I want to use this adapter to connect in console port on router / switch to configure them.

I Use a software with a telnet, SSH, etc ... but I can not install the driver for my adapter and then I Can't Use the Serial port to connect on the devices
What does it take to activate the serial ports on my MacBook Pro
Someone could help me

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.6), iPhone 4G

Just FYI, Apple started shipping drivers for FTDI-based adapters in 10.9 (see https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/technotes/tn2315/_index.html.) As a result, you don't need to install anything extra if you have one of those. However, you will need a driver for most other types of devices- unless you use Serial ( http://www.decisivetactics.com/products/serial), which has its own built-in drivers.
