    If you live in a country where the feature is not available, you will not be able to rent movies. Not all iTunez content is available worldwide.

    I am having the same issue.  When I tap iTunes on my iPad 2 I get redirected to the App Store!  Before I get redirected I am able to see the bottom menu on iTunes which says: music, movies, audiobooks, etc. but then the GUI moves iTunes to the background and replaces it with the App Store.  Very frustrating!  I have iOS 6.0.1 installed.
