Is iWeb still available?
Is iWeb no longer available? In the past, I have shared photos using iPhoto. Can I still do that?

Apple no longer sells iWeb however you can still find a legitimate copy of iWeb on either the iLife '09 or iLife '11 DVD
Both installation DVD's include iWeb 3.0 & iDVD
Thanks! I do have iWeb. However, when I try to share pictures to my iWeb site, I just get the "MobileMe" is closed, which prevents me from sharing my photos via iWeb. I prefer not to use Flickr or Facebook to share my photos.
Any suggestions?
You need to obtain web hosting so you can publish your website to it. You will also need to obtain a domain name as one is needed when using ftp servers. Some hosting services provide both domain names and web hosting in one package. One such service is http://hostexcellence.com.
This this also should be of help to you: Life After MobileMe.

Now if you are trying to publish to MobileMe Apple discontinued that service back at the end of June.
Now, publishing iWeb websites requires a 3rd party webhost.
Depending on the version of iWeb you are using you have a couple of publishing options:
iWeb '09 (3.0.4) you can publish to an FTP Server or a local folder.
( With the built in FTP in iWeb you will end up with an address like "www.YourDomain.com/sitename/Home.html )
iWeb '08 you can publish your website to a local folder
I have been using IX Webhosting for several years with little to no problems "usually the problem was something I did" and they have been quick to solve any issue I have come across. The have plans that start at $3.95 a mo (USD) and their customer service is top notch.
