Im trying to connect my MacBook Pro to my LG tv with the HDMI kabel! I bought an adaptor to Mac but I still can not get it to work! It feels like Ive tried everything! what to do??
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8), HDMI
system preferences>displays>detect display
I had this problem. Turned out I needed to reset the PRAM and/or the SMC.
PRAM reset - boot computer holding down Command-Option-P-R - continue holding keys until you hear the startup sound a second time. Finder -> Help -> PRAM
