Urgent. Updated Java but still can't play video

Still couldn't play the video although i've already updated the Java software in my Macbook Pro just now. Any solution for this please?

I've never had to play video that required the use of Java.


Javascript yes, Java no. Two different plug-ins.


Check your browser preferences that Javascript is ON and Java is OFF.


Since Java has been a security nightmare recently, I suspect you have been conned if you require Java to watch video online.



Where is the site with the video? Don't post a link to it.



Are you sure your not getting Flash confused with Java or Javascript?


Flash is required for a lot of video online. Silverlight is required for Netflix viewing.
