Duplicate Photo Book not working

I am trying to duplicate a photo book using Aperture 3.3.2.

When I do so, I get a cryptic message indicating some of the pictures in the book are no longer in the set and it can't find the pic shot. No idea what that means, as the pictures are all clearly still there. If I select either option it gives me, it produces a book that is no where near a duplication. It replaces pictures, changes the format and rearranges things.

How hard is it to literally duplicate the reference files from one book to another? Why is this not working and how do I really, actually and truly duplicate a book?
