i was writing in notes and accidently hit the undo button, losing all this important stuff. how do i redo it? or get it back! can i get it back? please help. !!!

Shake your iPad again, and then select Redo Typing.

Shake your iPad once more and it should say "Redo Typing".
i found the redo button on the += keyboard which is dumb cuz its practically hidden when the undo button should be hidden better and the redo button closer by. looks like since i navigated away to safari and email and cuz i kept typing on that page that ive overwritten it :(
next question is can i shut off the undo button temporarily or move it or get it to ask me if i really want to undo first ??
The best thing to is just don't type after hitting Undo and find Redo. Because of Apple's strict simplicity policy, there is no way to shut out Undo or Redo as far as I know of.
I have the same problem for the Iphone 4 and can't find the redo. Can anyone help?
