Blue tooth stopped working when i upgraded my Iphone 4 from IOS 4 to IOS 5

I have a 2006 BMW 330i. The blue tooth in the car worked fine with my Iphone 4 with IOS 4. As soon as i upgraded to IOS 5.1.1 it stopped working. Will not pair.

What are my options? Are there plans to fix IOS 5? Do I need to downgrade back to IOS 4. If i need to downgrade what is the process.
