iCloud inbox suddenly EMPTY
Suddenly, this afternoon (7/31/12 around 4:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time), my iCloud inbox was empty. Poof. No warning, no nothing. Just empty.
What on EARTH is going on?

Go to www.icloud.com, login and see if the Inbox really is empty. Post back.
Yes indeed, it's empty of everything except a couple of messages sent since I posted. A number of users are reporting the same problem. Suddenly various iCloud mailboxes are just empty - poof

You're correct "Access to older messages affected by this issue will be restored ASAP.”

Well, "ASAP" can't some soon enough for me. This should never have happened in the first place.

Always a problem with free mail systems, if you want better reliability it will probably cost money.
