how to change name of the owner on the iphone

I have an iPhone 4 which does not follow the instructions given above for changing the name of the owner. No "Account" in iCloud.

Does anyone remember how this phone is supposed to access its owner name? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean.

You can change the name of the iphone.

Open itunes, double click the name under devices, type what you like.

If you mean the way it says "Johnny Apple Seed's iPhone"?

If so, you have to edit the information for the credit card. (It sounds weird, but works)

1. Tap Settings
2. Tap iCloud
3. Tap Account
4. Tap Payment information
5. Change the "Name on Card" to the name you want it to be. If it's Jane Appleseed's iPhone and it needs to be changed to Johnny Appleseed's iPhone, then change the first name from Jane to Johnny.

Try going to settings, general, about, name. Change the name there.

Yes. My wife inherited our daughter's phone when she bought a larger one. So we need to personalize it for her.
