Aug 1, 2012 3:41 AM in response to ozbusaby Ivan Clarke1,That is because Mountain is exclusively 64bit
sorry but you are stuck!
I would run a search online for an app that can do the conversion. Audiofinder www.icedaudio.com/ is awesome
Good luck

Aug 1, 2012 4:01 AM in response to Ivan Clarke1by ozbusa,Thanks for the reply and link Ivan.
I still don't understand the fact that I can start Logic in 32 bit mode, and that the AKAI Convert option then becomes available, but doesn't work.
Are you saying that even if I start Logic in 32 bit, that it is actually running in 64 bit?
Thanks,
Clive.

Aug 1, 2012 5:02 AM in response to ozbusaby Ivan Clarke1,I am not entirely sure as I have never run Logic on ML and will not do until I am absolutely sure that it is stable.
* ML does not have a 32-bit kernel
* Mountain Lion will run 32-bit applications.
* Some apps require a 32-bit "kernel extension", these will not run in ML.
* If you are in Snow Leopard or Lion now, open System Preferences and if any of the preferences in the bottom section, the prefs for 3rd party apps, warn you that System Preferences must restart in 32-bit mode, THAT is an app that will not run in Mountain Lion.
