Q: all of my contacts, photos and calendar are gone

I connected my iphone 4s to itunes now all of my contacts, calendars and photos are gone. Why?

    Most likely scenario... the device was restored.

     

    Regardless, if the device has been used as designed, contacts are synced to a supported app on the computer or a cloud service, same with calendars, and photos are copied off to the computer regularly and the user syncs back what they want/need on the device.  Simply sync them back.
