A little information in your question would be helpful!
I just tested an old version - FileMaker Pro 8.5 - and it seemed to work just fine in ML. I don't know what version you're referring to, but would assume anything newer than mine would also work.

I use Fmp pro 12 Advanced
Here FileMaker 8.5 crashed when I tried to print. Already with Lion I could not print directly anymore and had to take the route to open the document in Preview.app first and could print from there. With OS 10.8 FileMaker 8.5 also crashed when I try to open in Preview.
This may be unique to my database, however with FileMaker 12 and having converted the databases to “.fmp12” the problem has gone.
My problem is the I can not to use my scan Epson, but I can to print.
We can use Filemaker 8.5 in ML but as soon as we try to print, Filemaker crashes. The only way we can print is to "send" to a PDF file, then print in Preview.
