How do I transfer photos from iPhone to laptop

I would like to know how to transfer photos

from my iPhone 4s to my laptop.

My laptop runs on Windows Vista if this helps.

Import your camera roll directly into whatever software you use for handling photos on the PC. The iPhone should show up just like any other digital camera.

All fixed, photos are now on my laptop. next job is to sort them into catagories

ie Family, Holidays etc
