Griffin Survivor Case damaging ipad 3

Despite Griffin Claiming the survivor case fits both the ipad 2 and ipad 3 I do not believe it does fit safely without damaging the ipad. I now have 2 small marks where the alluminium case meets upto the glass screen. It's hard to see the marks an they kinda look like scuff marks, it would be hard to get damage in that area without actually damaging the glass as well. When you look at the survivor case it does appear to push in the area around the screen, the ipad was brand new out of the box and had no damage prior to being put in the case. I have emailed Griffin about this issue, I probably wont get much look but as the ipad is slightly thicker than the old ipad and the survivor case fits so tight I thought it best to warn others you might damage you Ipad3 in that particular case. Has anyone else had the same problem with the survivor case and the ipad 3?

Hello my name is Yuta. I do not have this cover but I think that I could help you. Since that this is not a good thing I highly recommend you to call the company(GRIFFIN) instead of email. i do not know if they are going to do something with the ipad(repair, replace) but just try to call them.

this is their phone number: 1-800-208-5996 or (international phone number) 1-615-399-7000.

If your ipad is protected by apple-care they should fixe it for free.( if you did not buy apple-care protection plan when you bought your Ipad they would not be able to fixe this issue for free.) if you want to know the price to repair this issue you should call 1-800-my-apple.
