Q: Purchased iTunes movies to ipod touch

My son has an ipod touch and wanted to drag "The Adventures of Tin Tin" that he had purchased (through a download code that came with the DVD) from iTunes. He tried it 2 ways- once dragging it from Itunes to ipod and syncing, and once going to the ipod on the left side, clicking 'movies' and clicking the check on that film and syncing the ipod. Either way it shows it as downloaded, but when he tries to find it on the ipod, it can't be found.

He has 5.1.1 software installed.

Can anyone help? Much appreciated.

Maybe here:
'iTunes: May be unable to transfer videos to iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Does the move play in iTunes?
Have yo used the Spotlight search on the iPod to try to find it?

Yes, it does play in Itunes and we did try the search. There is nothing by that name on the ipod, despite it showing as having transferred and synced and it shows up under movies on the ipod when you check what's in it on the left side of itunes.

It even shows that amount of space taken up on the ipod after the download. It's seriously crazy.

- Do you see any movies that you can't recognize?
- Try resetting the iPod. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Have you tried unsyncing all movies and then only synced that one movie?

Hi Illaass- thanks for asking.

No strange movies showing and have tried the reset with no luck. We also did the unsync and reloaded just the one.

Seems we've hit a wall of weirdness.
